2020 Pattern Carpet Trends

Patterns. Patterns. Patterns.

In 2019 they ruled the home; And we don't see them going away anytime soon.
Patterned carpets can add a bit of interest to a room, or can set the tone for the entire theme of the room.

The pindot has been around for years, making it one of the most recognizable and traditional looks for patterned carpets. This pattern, by Karastan, adds a bit of interest with a drop stitch of color for a multi-dimensional look.

Pattern Trend 2: Striated Patterns

Arguably the most popular look in patterned carpets right now, this look is perfect for adding texture to your space. Organic and dramatic, your selection can create sophistication or casual comfort. The look works well in living rooms, game rooms, and is stunning on stairs. The above pattern, from Anderson Tuftex, is a soft Stainmaster nylon. The below options, from Dreamweaver & Mohawk, are beautiful & budget sensitive too.

Pattern Trend 3: Trellis

For a more ornate, upscale look, this one is a stunner. Some patterns offer a turn of the century nod and work beautifully in the historic homes of Mobile. Others present a more contemporary feel. These patterns are perfect for custom rugs, stairs, and master bedrooms.
